MEET THE CREW

TAYLOR PEREZ, OWNER

a Brevard, North Carolina native, is a testament to the spirit of adventure and the value of hard work. A graduate of Brevard High School, Taylor furthered his education at Brevard College, where he majored in Environmental Studies and participated in the Wilderness Leadership Program. His passion for the outdoors and leadership skills earned him a seasonal wilderness guiding position in Alaska's Wrangell St. Elias National Park, a role he dedicated himself to for six years.

During his time in Alaska, Taylor expanded his horizons by learning various trades and sustainable building techniques. These skills proved invaluable when he returned to Brevard and joined a local contractor. Over the next decade, under the mentorship of seasoned professionals, Taylor honed his craft and gathered the experience necessary to launch his own business, TPC (Taylor Perez Construction).

In the summer of 2019, Taylor met Peyton, and they soon welcomed their daughter, Eliza, into the world. Eliza, now a spirited and loving four-year-old, and her older sister Harper, aged seven, fill Taylor and Peyton's life with joy. Balancing work and family is a primary motivator for Taylor, driving him to excel in both his professional and personal life. He commits wholeheartedly to his work at TPC, ensuring that every project meets his high standards of quality and efficiency.

Outside of work, Taylor and Peyton cherish their time together, whether they're exploring new hiking trails, kayaking on the river after a good rain, or simply enjoying quiet moments at home. At TPC, Taylor believes in doing things right the first time and consistently goes above and beyond to meet client needs. He values quality workmanship, thoughtful design, and maintains open communication to ensure that every project is a collaborative success.
